Flash flood warning issued on May 14 at 12:58 pm PDT and remains in effect until 10:30 pm PDT for Southwestern San Diego County which includes El Cajon, Las Mesa, Coronado, Linda Vista, Tierrasanta, Downtown San Diego, Mission Valley, Hillcrest, North Park, Midway District, Mission Beach, Point Loma, Kearny Mesa, Lake Murray, Scripps Ranch, Point Loma and Qualcomm area.

Flash flood warning remains in effect until 6:00 pm PDT today.
Stay alert.
Monitor local television and radio stations.
Assemble supplies:
Be prepared to evacuate.
- Identify places to go.
- Identify alternative travel routes that are not prone to flooding.
- Plan what to do with your pets.
- Fill your car’s gas tank.
- Evacuate immediately, if you think you are at risk or are advised to do so!
Protect your property.
- Disconnect electrical appliances. Do not touch them if you are wet or standing in water.
